What do we consider

As a Business School, we promote hands-on and interactive learning. As such, we have relatively small group sizes where we value a diverse group composition, both in terms of background, experience and personality.

Through the motivational essay and during the personal interview, we will try to assess your fit with Vlerick and the programme. We are looking for a well balanced mix of motivated students, displaying:

  • Academic Potential
We consider how you have performed academically, as well as your results on GMAT, GRE or VBAT.

  • Managerial Potential
We also consider your potential to be a good manager. We look at your resume so far – particularly any student related or extracurricular activities as well as (international) experiences that demonstrate your interest in business.

  • Vlerick Potential
The most important thing for us is whether you are a good fit for us - and if we are a good fit for you? How does the programme tie in with your future professional and personal plans?

In order to prepare for your admission test, You can find some tips & tricks in our VBAT preparation document.
