Registration for our Full-time MBA programme

Congratulations on your admission to Vlerick Business School’s Full-time MBA Programme! We are very excited to welcome you to the Vlerick community starting in September 2019. In order to confirm your spot in the next cohort, you must complete the following steps. Please read carefully.

1. REGISTRATION FORM AND COMMITMENT FEE

  • Complete the Registration Form and submit it together with the non-refundable commitment fee of € 4 000 by the deadline mentioned in your Letter of Admission.
  • Please, use the following details for the commitment fee payment (*).
    Account Number: 448-0032521-27
Bank: KBC Bank, Kouter 175, B-9000 Ghent, Belgium
    Codes for international payments:
    SWIFT/BIC: KREDBEBB
    IBAN: BE48 4480 0325 2127
Reference number: Your personal reference number can be found in your Letter of Admission.
  • Upon receipt of the Registration Form and the payment confirmation, Vlerick will send you ONE invoice for the total tuition fee of €38 000 (*). This electronic invoice will be sent to the address you provide on the Registration Form (**). The commitment fee of € 4 000 will be deducted from your tuition fee.

(*) Please note that costs related to international payments are at the expense of the student and must be included in your payment. Please also note that all payments should be done in EUR and that it is not possible to pay the fees via credit card. (**) If the tuition fee will be paid partly by yourself and partly by your company, please indicate clearly on the registration form the amounts to be invoiced to the different parties.

 2. PROOF OF REGISTRATION

Upon receipt of your Registration Form and Commitment Fee, Vlerick will send you your official Proof of Registration Form.

For students who are not citizens of the European Union, the Proof of Registration Form is a critical document for obtaining a student visa to study in Belgium. It is important to note that it can take up to two months to have your student visa processed. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you send us your Registration Form and Commitment Fee as early as possible. Submitting all visa documents to the Belgian Embassy later than 1 July 2019 could seriously jeopardize your ability to get a student visa in time to start in fall 2019.

For more information regarding the student visa process, please go to the Visa Procedure page. Please note that the school must inform the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs if a student enters the country on the basis of a student visa and then drops out of the programme before graduation.

3. TUITION PAYMENT

Tuition payment must be made prior to the start of the programme. There are two options to satisfy payment:

a. Pay the remaining tuition costs in full.
b. Participate in Vlerick’s Installment Plan. The Installment Plan enables you to pay the tuition balance in four separate payments due 30 September 2019, 30 November 2019, 28 February 2020, and 30 April 2020. Participation in the Installment Plan requires a signed contract and 250 EUR administrative fee.

If you are awarded a scholarship and/or receive a student loan, these will automatically be reflected in your tuition bill. Therefore, you will only be required to satisfy the balance of your tuition bill. If your account balance exceeds the cost of tuition, the remaining balance will be reimbursed to your Belgian bank account in one payment.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

4. PROOF OF GRADUATION

To complete your registration, we require an official copy of your diploma before 1 October 2019.

  1. For Belgian degrees, please provide us with a copy of your original diploma.
  2. For non-Belgian degrees, please send us a certified copy of your diploma, or allow us to check the authenticity of your diploma by bringing along your original copy at the start of the programme. Alternatively, you may ask your university to send a proof of graduation directly to:

Vlerick Business School
Minna Peltola
Avenue du Boulevard
2nd floor Manhattan Centre
1210 Brussels
Belgium

The required documents delivered to the Belgian embassy or consulate may either be in English, French, German or Dutch, or an authenticated translation into one of these languages.

Ask the Belgian diplomatic offices in your country of residence to authenticate the original documents and any translation thereof. This may be done by the Belgian diplomatic offices, or the local authorities themselves, by adding an “Apostille” to the documents.

Students who cannot provide a Proof of Graduation in the formats indicated above will not be allowed to continue the programme.
