Ellen Beckstedde


Ellen Beckstedde obtained a master’s degree in Engineering Science, specializing in Energy, at the KU Leuven University in 2019. During her Master, she developed herself in the economic, environmental and policy aspects of the energy sector. With her master thesis “System analysis of electric civil aviation”, she received the KU Leuven Master Thesis Award handed out by Siemens Industry Software.
In her current position as a research assistant at the Energy Centre of the Vlerick Business School, she will perform research on flexibility and system operator coordination.
