Joeri Van den Bergh is co-founder and managing partner and at InSites Consulting. As part of the Client Happiness/Marketing team, he develops keynote content for in-company workshops, papers, articles, blogs, bonding events and marketing stages around the world.
Joeri Van den Bergh holds a magna cum laude master degrees in applied economics and marketing (University of Louvain and Vlerick Business School). He started his career as an academic researcher at the Marketing Communication Research Centre of Vlerick, and later founded and led the Vlerick Kids and Teens Marketing and Senior Consumer Marketing Centre. As a recognized marketing book author, he wrote the American Marketing Association (AMA) awarded Book of the Year 2012 on branding to generations Y & Z “How Cool Brands Stay Hot” (published by Kogan Page). His bestselling marketing book has been updated in 3 editions and published in 10 languages in the past 5 years. Joeri’ s main fields of interest are: consumer psychology, online marketing, trends and children, kids & youth marketing. He has published in journals including International Journal of Advertising and the Journal of International Consumer Marketing, contributed as the expert on Millennials to the Wiley Blackwell Encyclopedia of Consumption and Consumer Studies and co-authored international hand books on future consumer trends and marketing communications (published by Financial Times, 6 editions).
As a NextGen expert and speaker he gets regularly invited on global marketing and research conferences and in-company trainings (with keynote speeches in 30 countries in the past 5 years). Joeri received the academic nomination Fellow of the Hogeheuvel College at the Department of Applied Economics, KU Leuven and was also selected by C-level marketing executives to hold the title of Master Marketer (STIMA 2012).
