Natalia Matanova is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Vlerick Business School in Belgium. Natalia teaches corporate finance courses in several MBA, executive and customer specific programmes. Prior to joining Vlerick, Natalia has worked at the Pennsylvania State University in the U.S. (2015-2020), where she taught Corporate Finance, Investment Valuations and Multinational Financial Management courses. Natalia has obtained her PhD from Cass Business School, City University London (U.K.). Her doctoral dissertation concentrates on the private equity and venture capital investors’ involvement in firms post initial public offering. Her research interests primarily lie in the following domains: private equity, venture capital, initial public offerings, institutional investors, corporate finance and corporate governance. Natalia’s research has been presented at numerous peer-reviewed international conferences, and she is a recipient of the Rubin Business and Steinberg Business Grants.
