Research is deeply connected to the roots of Vlerick as an academic business school. Our team of retail experts, headed by Prof Gino Van Ossel, closely cooperates with retailers and consumer goods suppliers to directly translate new insights from our research to your daily practice.

Are you open to discuss your retail business problem or strategic retail question with young, promising talents? Do you believe a young, fresh look on your retail challenge would be of added value? Need some extra resources to take the lead in a research project for your company? Make sure to call upon the help of our Vlerick full-time MBA & our Master students! During the final stage of their Vlerick programme in general, marketing or financial management, they work full-time on a real-life in-company project, ordered by companies like yours.

Through the project, your company can capitalise on the knowledge, skills and experience our students have acquired during their studies at our School (and prior to their Vlerick programme as well). A team of 3 Vlerick students work for several month full-time on this project. A Vlerick professor and research assistant guard the academic quality and methodology. A internal promotor of your company evaluates the added value for your organisation during the final presentation. Recently, quite some retailers called upon the services of our students, amongst others: Carrefour, Colruyt, Delhaize, Decathlon, Thomas Cook.
