Brussels gets its first globally ranked MBA

Belgium’s oldest and most highly regarded MBA programme moves its location from Leuven to Brussels this autumn, making it more accessible for candidates across Europe. Vlerick’s full-time MBA will be Brussels' first and only globally ranked, Triple Crown accredited programme. As almost 90% of the full-time MBA class is made up of international students, the new location will be perfectly suited for candidates with global ambitions and attitudes. The move also further consolidates Vlerick’s position in the capital of Flanders, Belgium and Europe.

Located only steps away from some of the world’s most well-known banks, consulting firms and governmental and non-governmental organisations, the state-of-the-art Brussels campus which opened in 2013, brings students closer to potential recruiters and more international career opportunities. In addition to the move of the full-time MBA the Brussels campus, which was already home to an Executive MBA and a Masters in Finance Management, will also be hosting a Masters in General Management as from the fall.

Filip Roodhooft, the Research Dean of the school, says: “Our students come to us with the ambition of better understanding business in a European and global context and there is no better place in the world to get that experience than in the heart of Europe, Brussels.”

Yolanda Habets, Head of the Full-Time MBA Programme, says: “The access that our Brussels campus provides to some of the world’s most innovative companies will help create a truly transformative experience. The move to Brussels is very much in the spirit of Vlerick’s mission to transform knowledge into action and action into knowledge and we expect our students and faculty alike to greatly benefit from this move.”
