Dr Roch Doliveux and Mr Frank Donck, Chairman & Vice Chairman, and Prof Marion Debruyne, Dean of Vlerick Business School, take great pleasure in inviting you to the Official Opening of the Vlerick Business School Academic Year 2016-2017 on 12 September 2016.
Just like our 20,000 alumni, the 450 new Masters & MBA students are entering Vlerick to realise their dreams and move forward on their career path. Discover the inspiring dreams of some of our alumni − and the impact that Vlerick has on them − at: www.vlerick.com/dreams.
Follow that dream... at Vlerick
During the opening ceremony, Bart Van der Roost − CEO of neoScores® and alumnus Executive MBA 2014 − will tell you about his dream, from musician to music manager to MBA.
His keynote speech − ‘Dreams and other buzzwords. How everything you hear about a business school is true. And false.’ − answers questions like: Why do you need a business school degree? Is it still relevant? What about the hopes and dreams that you have before you start: continue to cherish them? abandon them? or turn them into reality? From musician to music manager to MBA. There are a lot of lessons learned − and, in the end, this time-consuming and expensive endeavour can be summarised in the iconic MBA answer to almost any question: “It depends.”
