The Vlerick Sales Conference
The Sales Expertise Centre at the Vlerick Business School has the professionalisation of the sales function as one of its primary objectives. Towards achieving this goal, we have gone about establishing various initiatives targeted at both young professionals interested in a career in sales, as well as focusing on content relevant for the sales manager. For the past two years, we have hosted the Vlerick Sales Conference aimed at bringing cutting edge sales practices to a target audience of sales executives. Building on the success of the first two conferences, we are proud to announce the organisation of the third Vlerick Sales Conference. This year, the particular focus will be on “Salesperson as a Knowledge Broker”.
The various sessions we have planned for this year will focus on the changing nature of the sales function and what should salespeople do to be true “rainmakers” in an era of customer centricity. Understanding the changing sales paradigm as a result of advances in technology, hypercompetitive marketplaces, and increasingly demanding customers will be critical for the success of salespeople. Salespeople should become Knowledge Brokers.
