The Vlerick Sales Conference
The Sales Expertise Centre at the Vlerick Business School has the professionalisation of the sales function as one of its primary objectives. Towards achieving this goal, we have gone about establishing various initiatives targeted at both young professionals interested in a career in sales, as well as focusing on content relevant for the sales manager. Last year we kicked off the first Vlerick Sales Conference which focused on understanding the drivers of sales force effectiveness. Building on the success of the first conference, we are proud to announce the organisation of the second Vlerick Sales Conference. This year, the particular focus will be on “Selling in the Digital Era”.
The various sessions we have planned for this year will focus on how advances in technology has helped empower buyers who in turn have become more demanding of the sales professional. Understanding the changing sales paradigm as a result of this technology-driven and managing the sales force to deliver results is going to be the challenge for many sales organisations.
