Tim Schittekatte received a B.S in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Ghent University, Belgium, in 2013. Subsequently he completed the Erasmus Mundus Master Program “Economics and Management of Network Industries (EMIN)” in 2015. This program is jointly organized by the University Paris-Sud XI, Pontificia Comillas University and TU Delft.
Currently he is a research associate at the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) in the Energy and Climate group and an affiliated researcher at the Vlerick Energy Center, while working on his PhD thesis “DSO regulation and regulatory impact analysis” at the University Paris-Sud XI. Before being part of the FSR, he was a visiting researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and junior energy economist at Microeconomix in Paris.
