Anh Nguyen Thi Phuong is carrying out doctoral research into the field of people and organisations at both Vlerick and the business economics department of Ghent University.
Her research focuses mainly on sustainable careers, career management and Generation Z in the workplace. She’s interested in discovering the factors that help an individual transition successfully from education to work – and develop a sustainable career in the future. Person-organisation fit is one of the essential outcomes of this transition, which benefits both employees and their employers.
Before embarking on her academic career, Anh gained seven years’ experience working as an HR and Training Specialist at Viettel Telecom, one of the top 30 most valuable telecom brands in the world.
