Jia Li

Professor of Organisational Behaviour

Is an expert in team dynamics, diversity and leadership – and speaks regularly on these subjects.

Jia Li’s research interests include dynamics, diversity and leadership within teams – and longitudinal research methods.

An expert in her field, Jia’s research has been published in several renowned academic journals (such as Academy of Management Annals, #1/226 management journals, #1/155 business journals). Her research has also won Best Paper Awards at several international conferences (such as 2018 INGRoup in the US, 2016 WAOP in the Netherlands, 2011 Eastern AoM in India). And she’s spoken at conferences and universities across Europe and China.  

Together with Professor Anita Keller (Groningen University) Jia also co-developed and taught a national PhD course on longitudinal research methods in organisational and social psychology. And before joining Vlerick, Jia was an Assistant Professor at the University of Göttingen (Germany) and at Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands).
