EQUIS – the European Quality Improvement System – assesses, improves and accredits business schools around the world. It’s run by EFMD, a global organisation dedicated to management that is respected by students, academia and the corporate world.

Since we were first accredited with EQUIS quality certification in 2001, we have consistently been reaccredited every five years. In 2021, we were accredited once again.

Part of an elite group of institutions

The reaccreditation means we continue to be the only institution in Belgium to hold all three major international quality accreditations: the American AACSB, the British AMBA and the European EQUIS.

This triple accreditation recognises Vlerick’s commitment to setting the highest international quality standards in management education and research.

Dean Marion Debruyne talks about the importance of being an EQUIS-accredited business school – and the unique strengths that allow Vlerick to achieve such consistently high standards.
