Entrepreneur in residence

Enterpreneur group Vlerick-Business School

Vlerick Business School strongly believes in the inspiring role that experienced entrepreneurs and investors can play. That’s why we involve a great number of them in our programmes, sharing their experiences and insights with our students and participants in various ways (e.g. teaching, coaching, testimonials, jury participation, case development, networking). Their practical experiences is also an important source of inspiration for our faculty and researchers, keeping a finger on the pulse and developing new content.

These passionate entrepreneurs and investors span the whole spectrum: founders and managers of innovate profit and non-profit businesses; investors active in the entrepreneurial finance ecosystem; people with a profound expertise in growing businesses and commercialising innovations. They act as role models and – just like Vlerick Business School – they believe in the added value of the synergy between the academic community and practitioner insights. They mutually reinforce each other, offering our students and participants the best of both worlds.

Each year, Vlerick Business School grants the title of “Entrepreneur in Residence” – or “Investor in Residence” – to a number of entrepreneurs who not only make a valuable contribution to our programmes, but who also act as a sounding board for our entrepreneurship department.
