Social Forum

Do you take entrepreneurial action to create a better world? We support entrepreneurs, students and alumni who make the difference! The Vlerick Social Forum aims to create awareness for social entrepreneurship at student and faculty level. The Social Forum is matchmaking between Vlerick students and organisations that develop, fund, and implement solutions to social, cultural or environmental challenges.

What do we offer our Master & MBA students?

Students can engage in a Global Social Project during their In-Company Project (ICP), you can look for a social enterprise with an interesting project yourself or you can build on a project that was done in the past. To find out more, you can reach out to [email protected].

Teams can apply for funding their Global Social Project up to €1000 per team. Also, don’t forget to enter your project for the Social Entrepreneurship Award, annually rewarding MBA or Master students for the social & entrepreneurial impact of their ICP project with a prize of €1500. The Vlerick Social Forum will distribute these means based on 5 criteria: sustainability, entrepreneurship, long-term effect and follow-up of the project, necessity for alternative financial support, quality of the project team (both students and organisation). To apply for funding and award, you can reach out to [email protected].

What do we offer NGO’s or social profit organization?

At Vlerick theory and practice go hand in hand. That’s why we challenge our students with a Global Social Project for an NGO or social profit organisation. In teams of 2-3 students, they will strategically tackle a project in your organisation that has a sustainable, social and/or ecological purpose. They will take a global perspective to think and act beyond country borders towards a strategic implementation. Find out how to apply for a Global Social Project.

Vlerick Business School wants to contribute to the professionalisation of charity organisations whose activities generate tangible benefits for people in Belgium and around the world. Check out more about the reduced rates.
