Vlerick Student Entrepreneurship Fund

The goal of the Vlerick Student Entrepreneurship Fund is to foster an entrepreneurial environment at Vlerick Business School.

Stimulating entrepreneurship is and has been at the core of Vlerick Business School’s mission since its inception and this focus on entrepreneurship is reflected in a broad offering of courses and other initiatives to nascent and existing entrepreneurs. To support existing students and alumni in the venture creation process, the Vlerick Student Entrepreneurship Fund aims to enhance and support entrepreneurship for student- and alumni-initiated entrepreneurial action.

The main goal is to provide students and alumni that want to (or have) become entrepreneurs with crucial assets in their venturing process. Moreover this allows successful entrepreneurs and alumni to give back to the community.

PRE-SEED FUNDING

To support existing students and recent alumni in the seed stages of the new venture creation process the Vlerick Student Entrepreneurship Fund provides seed funding for student-initiated entrepreneurship ideas.

The main goal is to provide student entrepreneurs with a significant amount of funding to develop, for example, proof-of-concepts in order to convince early customers, investors or other stakeholders of the potential new venture or to expose their ideas to an international setting.

Overall, the Vlerick Student Entrepreneurship Fund fosters an entrepreneurial environment at Vlerick Business School and allows successful entrepreneurs and alumni to give back to the community.
