Kristel Merckx, Routz
Business Manager

“I followed the Key Account Management programme because I wanted to develop myself as an Account Manager. I had just started at Routz Belgium (a new start-up in Belgium, but with a 20-year track record in the Netherlands). Our market focus is on large enterprises and service providers. All this was new to me, so I needed to develop myself at certain levels.

I learned what key account management entails, how to manage bigger accounts, how to classify segments and accounts, and how to develop and profile our company. I also gained more knowledge of how to grow a customer in terms of quantity and quality.

The programme also changed my way of working – instead of immediately taking action, first analyse and assess the causes and then define concrete steps. If you want to develop in account management, I definitely recommend this programme!”

B2B organizations are increasingly considering the use of digital technology to engage end-consumers.
