How can man and machine work together in the smart supply chain?

How do you get your people to adopt the smart technology that is invading the supply chain? How can man and machine work together? What about trust? These are the questions our new Centre on People in the Smart, Digitised Supply Chain will dive into. At the steering wheel are professors Ann Vereecke and Karlien Vanderheyden.

Technology adoption is key

The Centre which was launched in January, brings together partners and members from very different sectors, ranging from “hard” industries and logistics over consumables producers to retail. But when it comes to the smart supply chain, they all face the same challenge: how do you get your people to adopt that smart technology? That’s why OM Partnersbluecrux and Lineas have joined forces with Professor Ann Vereecke (Operations & Supply Chain) and Professor Karlien Vanderheyden (People & Organisation) to conduct research and other activities, exploring the impact of digital transformation on people in the supply chain.

Find out all about the ‘why’ in the digital magazine ‘People in the smart, digitised supply chain’.
