YOU ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT A PAPER FOR THE 2ND SUSTAINABLE FINANCE CONFERENCE.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the conference aims to further establish itself as a leading European forum for research in sustainable finance. Located at the heart of Europe, it brings together scholars and practitioners engaged in cutting-edge academic and policy-relevant research.

The conference will be held in person at Vlerick Business School, Brussels.

CALL FOR PAPERS

We welcome theoretical, empirical, and methodological contributions in all areas of sustainable finance, including, but not limited to:

  • Climate and Environmental Risk
  • Carbon pricing, emissions markets, and climate policy
  • Sustainable Asset Pricing and Investment
  • Biodiversity risk and natural capital valuation
  • Impact investing and performance measurement
  • Corporate Sustainable Finance
  • Sustainable finance regulation

Contributions that explore the application of artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics in sustainable finance are particularly encouraged.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday 30 May 2026.

CONFERENCE FORMAT

The conference is designed to be a niche, high-quality venue for in-depth discussion and feedback. It features a single-stream format in a highly interactive environment and an extensive discussion for each paper.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY

Conference participants are welcome to submit their paper to The European Journal of Finance (EJF). Authors should follow standard EJF submission instructions and submit via the journal’s portal. The normal EJF screening and peer-review processes and submission fee will apply.
