Researching the relationship between creativity and performance.

Aleksandra’s research explores the intersection of creativity and performance. She concentrates on how management accounting and control systems affect creative environments. At Vlerick, she will particularly focus on digital applications in management accounting.

She’s also involved in research projects focusing on social innovation, performance evaluation, family firms and emerging growth companies. Her research has been published in several academic journals and she collaborates with research organisations all over the world. She has taught at different European business schools, winning several teaching and research awards.

Before she became an academic, Aleksandra was an Associate at Deutsche Bank Inhouse Consulting – where she gained important practical experience that she now applies to her research and teaching posts.
