Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez

Lecturer of Project Management

Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez is a global champion of project management. He authored the Harvard Business Review Project Management Handbook and wrote HBR's featured article, The Project Economy Has Arrived, in November 2021.

He advises senior leaders on how to prioritise and implement strategic initiatives and lead transformational change. He is a pioneer and leading authority in teaching and coaching senior executives on strategy execution and project management.

Antonio was the global Chairman of the Project Management Institute and has been recognised as a Fellow of PMI for his contribution to the project management profession. He led the creation of the Brightline Initiative, founded Projects & Co. and co-founded the Strategy Implementation Institute.

His research and global impact in modern management have been recognised by Thinkers50 and he’s featured in the Global Gurus Top 30 list. Antonio is also the author of Lead Successful Projects, The Project Revolution and The Focused Organization, and has contributed to seven other books.

At Vlerick, Antonio teaches Project Management on various executive education and customised programmes.
