Cedric Donck

Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship

Cedric Donck is an experienced entrepreneur, who has launched a number of start-ups. He sold some of these businesses to major international communication groups, including Omnicom and WPP, where he held senior executive positions.

Since 2011, he has been a professional investor and business angel, through his company, Virtuology. With offices in Brussels, Paris, Montreal and Madagascar, the group supports the growth of more than 25 specialist digital marketing companies.

As Professor of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Corporate Sustainability, he teaches at various universities and acts as Dean at Virtuology Academy. As Adjunct Professor at Vlerick, he teaches entrepreneurship on the Masters in Financial Management and various innovation management classes in executive education programmes.

Cedric is the author of Pimento Map, a book that sets out a straightforward method for analysing business models.

Born in Africa, he has founded two NGOs that support local entrepreneurship – NewcoPark in Madagascar and Adanso in Burkina Faso. He also founded the Photography Museum of Madagascar.
