Entrepreneur Filip Smet founded his first company, Interhost Solutions, at the age of 23. This evolved into Lemon Companies – which quickly grew into an organisation of 35 people with an annual turnover of €4 million.

His current role is co-founder and CEO of Road21 – an incubator for start-ups such as Rond, Stretch, Dynamitt and Noah. In just two years, the tech group has grown to include 17 companies with 150 employees – and has an annual turnover of €30 million.

Filip is a mentor at the Birdhouse and at Vlerick – and is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Vlerick Entrepreneurship Academy.
