Founding director at BORGinsole, Gratienne’s entrepreneurial spirit inspires new business owners at Vlerick
Gratienne started her career first as a midwife and then as a midwifery teacher. She later returned to university to gain her Master in Medical Social Sciences, before becoming a researcher at Vlerick.
Several years later, armed with management experience and an entrepreneurial spirit, Gratienne and her husband launched BORGinsole – a company that produces podiatry insoles. In 2015, she was named Best Female Entrepreneur of the Year in the presence of Queen Mathilde.
Gratienne focuses on business excellence and boosting her company’s results. She’s a member of various boards, regularly attends international conferences – and is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Vlerick Entrepreneurship Academy.
