Hans Crijns

Professor of Management Practice in Entrepreneurship

With his academic, yet pragmatic approach to setting up and growing entrepreneurial ventures, Hans Crijns inspires both new and experienced entrepreneurs. He has more than 20 years’ experience teaching across the world – and shares fresh, visionary perspectives with entrepreneurs and managers who are creating and implementing new ventures and growth strategies. 

At Vlerick, Hans teaches Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation and Dimensions of Growth. He’s founder and director of the Impulse Centre Growth management for medium-sized enterprises (iGMO), working with more than 150 entrepreneurs who own and manage Belgian growth companies.

Hans has worked as an expert for the Belgian government and the European Commission. He is a former President and Fellow of the European Council for Small Business (ECSB) and board member of several entrepreneurship organisations. He also co-founded the Vlerick Business Angels Network (BAN) and the Académie pour la Croissance des Entreprises (ACE). Hans acts as Non-Executive Director for a number of medium-sized companies including Soudal, Sobradis, Alsico/Berphina and NFTE Foundation.
