Kristina Sen

Doctoral Researcher, Digital Transformation

Kristina focuses on designing organisational conditions that facilitate empowering relationships between people and technology. These are relationships that allow individuals to own and co-create ways of working with digital technology. This area of research allows Kristina to blend her background in philosophy with a passionate interest in the incentives that drive organisational change. She works in close collaboration with Professors Stijn Viaene and Karlien Vanderheyden.

Before her doctoral research, Kristina proposed a mid-life retirement model for her masters thesis. This allowed for partial retirement in mid-career. She explored how this could remove inequalities associated with later-life retirement – principally relating to people from different social and professional backgrounds living longer.
