Pascal Böni
Associate Professor of Finance
Pascal Böni is an Associate Professor of Finance at Vlerick Business School, combining comprehensive investment and corporate finance expertise with advanced negotiation skills. He previously held positions as Professor of Practice in Finance & Private Markets at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management and as Associate Professor of Finance at TIAS, both at Tilburg University, the Netherlands.
Over two decades, Pascal has advised boards, investors and entrepreneurs on over 100 corporate finance and complex M&A deals. He draws on board experience across listed and unlisted companies in finance, media, sports & entertainment and technology.
A Harvard- and Oxford-trained negotiator and mediator, he focuses on high-stakes negotiation and transactions in corporate finance, M&A, and private markets (private equity and private credit). His research addresses private markets, banking and corporate finance. He is a regular speaker at European universities and conferences, and a co-organiser and scientific board member of the Annual Private Markets Research Conference in Lausanne.
At Vlerick, he teaches on the Family Office programmes, the Investing in Private Equity programme and the Venture Capital & Private Equity programme.
