According to the 2022 European Business Schools ranking which is annually issued by the Financial Times, Vlerick Business School rises 16 places and now holds the 23rd position out of 95 ranked European business schools in total. From a national point of view, Vlerick remains number 1 in Belgium and the only Belgian school covering the full breadth of Masters, MBA and Executive Education.

Marion Debruyne, Dean of Vlerick Business School: "This ranking is a testament to the efforts of all faculty and staff within the school to strive every day to create more powerful learning journeys for our participants. It is a collective accomplishment of everybody, and I would like to thank the entire team."

Methodology

Each year the Financial Times produces a ranking of European business schools. This meta-ranking is based on the results of five other FT Business Education rankings published earlier this year:

  • the full-time MBA ranking (January)
  • the open enrolment executive education ranking (May)
  • the customised executive education ranking (May)
  • the Masters in Management ranking (September)
  • the Executive MBA ranking (October)

The FT European Business School ranking takes into account the number of programmes ranked by the FT for each school and the quality of these programmes
