Vlerick Business School is in the top 25 best business schools in Europe

Vlerick is also the number 1 business school in the Benelux

According to the European Business Schools ranking, published annually by the Financial Times, Vlerick Business School rose eight spots in 2025, placing us at number 25 in this list of 100 European business schools. Vlerick Business School is also the best business school in the entire Benelux, as well as the only Belgian school that offers a full range of Masters, MBA and management courses.

Marion Debruyne, Dean of Vlerick Business School, commented: “The excellent position in this ranking once again confirms that Vlerick Business School delivers quality at an internationally high level. This top performance is the culmination of a series of record positions that we have achieved this year. We were awarded a position in the top 15 in the world for our Masters programmes and a position within the global top 25 for the executive programmes.

“These outstanding results prove more than ever that Vlerick Business School offers strong added value to society at the highest level. By training talent, encouraging entrepreneurship and supporting a strong economic environment, business schools – and Vlerick in particular – contribute to stimulating innovation and economic growth within the Flemish, Belgian and European ecosystem. Moreover, Vlerick Business School has been at the forefront of entrepreneurship since it was founded more than 70 years ago, and the school is a rich breeding ground for unicorns and scale-ups with Flemish roots and international fame.”

“Finally, our position in this ranking is a fitting tribute to the efforts of all our professors, researchers and staff who dedicate themselves each day to creating learning journeys with ever-greater impact for our participants. This is a joint achievement by everyone at our school, and I would therefore like to thank the entire team.”

Methodology

Every year, the Financial Times compiles a ranking of European business schools. This meta ranking is based on the results of five other rankings published earlier in the year. The FT European Business School ranking takes into account the number of programmes with which each school is included in these rankings, as well as the quality of the programmes.
