International Study Course Overview

Brussels basecamp: Leadership

The journey begins in Brussels – the beating heart of the European Union. Here, participants take part in a foundational module on leadership essentials, strategy and financial management. It’s the launchpad for the GEMBA journey ahead.

From the outset, the focus is on practical learning – so that participants can step off campus with the tools and approaches to make an immediate difference in their organisations.

“What an incredible start to this new journey. I could not be more grateful for the packed, intense, yet deeply inspiring kick-off week in Brussels, gaining insights and building new expertise across key topics.”

Singapore or Cape Town: Leadership in an international context

Participants choose between Singapore and Cape Town for this module. In Singapore – in partnership with the Singapore Management University – the focus is on digital transformation and the future of work. Classroom learning is reinforced with visits to leading organisations including Bosch. In Cape Town – in collaboration with Stellenbosch Business School – the emphasis is on responsible leadership and sustainability. Highlights include visits to townships and tours of sustainable businesses and world-famous wineries.

“We had the opportunity to dive into leadership, innovation and business in Asia through sessions at Singapore Management University and visits to companies like Changi Airport Group, Bosch ASEAN and VYNCKE.”
