Optional EHRM exchange within General Management

For our General Management students, the additional Masters Programme in European Human Resource Management provides an opportunity to combine a high quality General Management degree with a specialist certificate in European HRM. The EHRM programme takes place during the final three months of the programme, replacing the general consultancy project.
The programme also provides students with the experience of cross-cultural teamwork which takes place in another country: a unique intercultural experience!

Effective Human Resource Management is key to the competitive advantage of companies operating in an increasingly international environment. The Master Programme in European Human Resource Management has been developed to integrate general management education with advanced HRM knowledge through a combination of theoretical and practical sessions and an in-company consultancy project. EHRM is an international project focusing on European issues within International HRM. The programme brings together participants and faculty from various leading European Business Schools and Universities:

The programme consists of three residential periods of class sessions and a consultancy in-company project each in one of these six European countries from April and to Mid-July (as part of the General Management Programme). During the project, the students work in the company/at the company site.

Costs
The tuition fee for the EHRM programme is 500 Euro. Other costs that you should take into account, include transport costs and housing expenses.

Testimonials

Name  The EHRM programme at Vlerick Business School stands out from any other HR program in many ways. It is the end product of a partnership among six schools and many colleagues from all around Europe which provides an exclusive enrichment. The graduates of the program are enrolled to a fast track of HR Management by support of a strong team of academicians and curriculum. Throughout the EHRM program, as being exposed to a thorough theoretical material of HR, I found the chance to apply them during my in-company project in the Netherlands.

Name  For me, the EHRM programme was a wonderful learning experience. Not only did it enhance my knowledge on Human Resource Management, it also enriched my understanding on cultural differences in a European context. By studying and working together with many nationalities I learned that even though Europe is a fairly small continent, the way business is conducted differs from country to country. Thanks to my in-company project in Copenhagen I could experience these differences in real life. This in-company project was also the perfect occasion to put all of the theory learned in the intensive classroom session into practice.
