Lieselot Danneels

Profile

Lieselot Danneels is Lecturer and Postdoctoral Researcher at Vlerick Business School. Lieselot obtained her PhD on digital transformation in public administration at KU Leuven and Vlerick Business School in 2017. Her PhD research focused on the transformation in government towards digital era governance.

Lieselot researches how organizations organize for digital transformation. She has worked with leading organizations in the public sector (VDAB, the public employment service for the Flemish region) and in the private sector (Arcadis). Her specific areas of interest include organization design for digital transformation, (open and big) data as a platform, and smart city ecosystems.

Lieselot is course holder of the Digital Transformation Bootcamp in the Master’s programs, and coaches executive participants in digital transformation programs.
