Being an academic at Vlerick
At Vlerick, you’ll discover our research centres, which attract senior business leaders – and spark relevant research across many topics.
Our research strategy focuses on rigour, relevance, reach and responsibility. It’s an approach that allows you to think progressively and remain relevant.
You’ll also be able to collaborate with academics in our partner universities of Ghent and KU Leuven. And we’ll support you to apply for research funding and encourage you to attend international conferences.

Teaching at Vlerick
As a faculty member, you’ll teach at MBA and Masters level – as well as on our executive programmes. You’ll team up with other faculty, researchers and staff across domains and institutions – and we’ll encourage you to integrate business games, simulations and digital technology into your teaching.
Vlerick is ahead of the curve when it comes to digital learning – and we’ll invest in your development to help you create highly-immersive learning journeys both in the classroom and online.
