Workshop on Innovation in times of crises:
What can we learn from the Covid-19 Pandemic?
by Vlerick Professor of Strategy & Innovation Management Zeynep Erden and Vlerick Professor of Innovation Management Robin Kleer
Innovation is the creation, development and implementation of a new product, process or service. Innovation management assures that companies come up with the right innovations and introduce them properly to the market using efficient processes. External pressure is one key driver for innovation. Unfortunately, 2020 created a lot of pressure with the Covid-crisis.
During this session, we will discuss how Corona affected innovation management:
- What kind of new products and services arose due to Corona.
- How did companies adapt their approach to innovation to cope with this difficult and unprecedented situation?
- What can we learn from successful (and unsuccessful) management practices in this crisis?
