Lan Li is a Doctoral Researcher in marketing and supply chain management at Vlerick. Her research focuses on how to improve social responsibility and business sustainability in the healthcare industry. She collaborates closely with Professor Fred Lemke.
Before her academic career, she worked as a senior business executive and researcher in Asia, Europe and Australia. She has 20 years of international management experience, which she gained working for four blue-chip companies in different industries.
She has hands-on experience in supply chain management, strategic planning, business, development, project and product management, international trading, sales management, negotiation and change management. Lan has also been a senior business coach, helping executives to develop leadership skills, communication skills, customer service management and working in multicultural environments.
Lan is a visiting lecturer on business economics and international business, a coach for executive business management courses and a university assistant teacher.
