Pascal Verdonck
Visiting Professor of Healthcare
Pascal brings both academic and private sector experience to his work in our Healthcare Management Centre.
Pascal Verdonck is Professor of Medical Technology at Ghent University, where he has been active for 35 years. He is also a visiting professor at Imperial College London and the Universities of Paris XII, Groningen and Bologna. He did a sabbatical as CEO of the private Maria Middelares hospital for eight years. He is also a visiting professor at KU Leuven.
Pascal is Chairman of the board of Maria Middelares Hospital and Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, an active member of the board of Acerta, OLV Aalst hospital, Sint-Vincentius Deinze hospital, Jan Yperman hospital and the Belgian Society of Hospital Directors. He is also on the advisory boards of various medtech start-ups and scale-ups.
As a Visiting Professor at Vlerick, Pascal is involved in our Healthcare Management Centre.
