What insights from the programme have helped your business address the challenges it faces today?

Nancy Van den Eynde, Managing Director at Cube Lockers: “This programme offered me three major insights to take back to my business. First of all, our DNA was not quite up to scratch. Our target markets were too broad, while some other markets proved sources of doubt or struggle. Having now properly mapped out these markets, we are approaching them in a different way. This is also how we learned not to say yes to everything, now daring to say no to enquiries from leads or customers should they not align with our DNA.

In addition, the training course made me realise that having a healthy balance sheet and management style are essential for future success. I am all the more motivated now to make our company more profitable, which we will achieve by focusing more on financial analysis, working strategically on the business rather than just in the business. This approach will improve both our corporate health and my own health. I was working far too many hours and not always doing the right things.

Ultimately, the Challenge Bootcamp has boosted my self-confidence significantly. My decision-making skills have improved, and I hesitate less over the decisions I take. Besides being able to develop fully-fledged plans of action, I can now ensure they are implemented in an efficient, organised manner.’

How did you put the insights gained through the programme into practice for the business?

Nancy Van den Eynde: “We have now better defined our target markets, while also excluding some others. As a result, we no longer deal with certain requests, which frees us up to focus on our core activities, in line with our business strategy. In addition, we have also increased the minimum value of our quotations, along with establishing a clear plan to substantially increase the conversion rate of quotations into orders.”

What impact have you achieved for your business so far by taking these steps?

Nancy Van den Eynde: "While it may be a little too early to see the full impact, I already feel inspired and confident in making decisions that previously seemed daunting. This new-found determination is helping me to effectively implement change. I am optimistic that the investment in this training course will make a valuable contribution to our future successes, with the rewards becoming clearly visible in the long term."
