Vlerick Business School reinforces its commitment to learning innovation and educational technology by becoming a member of the Digital Education Council (DEC). DEC is a global network of education innovators with a shared vision to drive sustainable innovation and AI adoption for higher education and workforce development. Initiated by SuperCharger Ventures, the world’s largest EdTech accelerator, DEC is on a mission to increase access to cutting-edge resources, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
DEC membership will allow Vlerick to connect with international leading universities, higher education institutions, business schools and experts in the field to jointly reflect on online learning trends and practices.
More specifically, Vlerick will be joining three thematic working groups:
Steve Muylle, Associate Dean Digital Learning at Vlerick Business School, says: “We view DEC as a broad-based networking organisation in digital education. The digital learning space is evolving at a rapid pace, and this brings opportunities but also educational shifts. DEC aims to shape digital education standards and policies across schools and stimulate innovation via collectively addressing common challenges and sharing best practices. This fits with Vlerick’s ambition to further accelerate our digital learning innovation and to keep our finger on the pulse of digital education trends. We are highly committed to designing and developing qualitative online learning journeys and digital learning solutions that equal our physical learning experience. This membership will contribute to delivering even more impactful learning experiences to various audiences across our Masters, MBA, open and customised programmes.”
