If we take a look at the people working in the field of reward management, we can make a distinction between four types of reward managers:
- The process champion – is a star at developing and monitoring reward policies and procedures
- The employee-centric reward manager – strongly focuses on the recipient of rewards
- The connector – develops a strong and broad network inside and outside the organisation, is eager to exchange ideas with other reward managers
- The pioneer – is a frontrunner who likes to think out of the box and innovate with rewards
