  • Candidates from outside Belgium can apply with a Masters degree or a 3 to 4-year Bachelors degree from a recognised institution (there may be additional requirements too)

Our Masters programmes are designed for young graduates, with an average age of 23 and little to no professional experience. If you have questions about your eligibility, please contact our admissions team

Success stories

Vlerick Kick-Off's, AY24/25.

When I started the Master in Business Analytics & AI, my first thought was: is AI just another hype? Spoiler: it’s not. The programme quickly proved its value through real-world projects, like predicting earnings manipulation in SMEs. That’s when I realized: theory only truly matters once it’s tested against the messy, complex data of real life.

The biggest lessons, though, weren’t just technical. The programme also gave me something unexpected: confidence. Before, I would never have dared to apply for the role I hold today. The Strategy Consulting Club opened my eyes to the preparation needed for consulting and gave me access to countless recruiting events. By the end of the year, I finally knew how to hold my own at one of those professional dinners — though it definitely took months of trial and error.

Vlerick Kick-Off's, AY24/25.

Coming from an engineering background, I joined Vlerick to develop a business mindset and learn data-driven decision making. The countless case studies, presentations and international group projects pushed me out of my comfort zone and boosted my confidence. It taught me how to turn data into compelling stories, collaborate across cultures, think critically, and stay open. It gave me not just new skills, but the confidence to grow as a professional and a person.

“At university, it’s all theory. But Vlerick takes an interactive approach – which was really important to me. You can have technical knowledge – but you need to be able to see it in a business context. And you need to be able to translate it for a person who doesn’t have the same technical background that you do.”

“The MAI programme at Vlerick has been an incredible year where I broadened my data skills and sharpened my management and business strategy knowledge. What sets this program apart is the hands-on approach with interactive classes, real-life cases and a Hackaton to put to the test what you have learned. Not only the classes, but also the opportunity to attend career fairs and other networking events have been incredibly useful. This combination made the program a multi-dimensional experience of both theory and practice, in which I was able to build upon not only my skills, but also my future.”

“This programme is a stepping stone to kickstarting your career. It seamlessly blends foundational courses with practical, hands-on experiences using tangible, real-life cases. In addition to honing your coding and technical skills as part of the Masters in Business Analytics & AI, you'll learn to assess and effectively drive analytics initiatives. By the end of this Masters, you can expect to become an inspiring leader who bridges the gap between your organisation’s core business and its technical capabilities.”
