A continuing crisis calls for network leadership and a collaborative approach

In just a few short weeks, we have entered a context unlike anything most of us have ever seen. In uncertain times, we may tend to criticise our political and business leaders for not being prepared or for not having a plan. Of course, preparation is important to cope with any crisis situation, but it’s not sufficient. It’s not necessarily those who have plans in place but those who adapt to a constantly evolving and unpredictable situation that tend to find effective responses in crisis situations.

So, what type of leadership does your organisation need to have in place to be able to continuously adapt to a rapidly evolving situation? Professor Katleen De Stobbeleir says that organisations that embrace a network leadership structure are much better equipped to continuously adapt to an evolving context. And this open response strategy can also be extended towards your customers.
