Lucca Van Hover

Lucca Van Hover is a doctoral researcher whose work focuses on energy management and optimisation.

Under the supervision of Professors Philippe Baecke and Robert Boute, she investigates data-driven Energy Management and Optimisation Systems (EMOSs) – and how they can achieve further efficiencies.

She focuses on how the use of renewable energy can become more cost-efficient and integrated, through intelligent coordination of flexible assets including batteries, electric vehicles and heat pumps.

In addition to her research, Lucca works as a Data Scientist at Qbus, a Belgian company specialising in smart home and building automation systems.
