Exploring connections between innovation, market structure and business models.
Robin Kleer’s research focus is technology transfer and the interdependencies of innovation, market structure and business models. He’s particularly interested in the potential of digitalisation and new production methods – such as additive manufacturing and blockchain – for more sustainable business models.
At Vlerick, he teaches on the Masters and MBA programmes. He is also responsible for our courses in innovation management, as well as technology foresight and sustainable innovation. In executive education, he teaches our Growth through Innovation programme. He’s also the programme director of the Masters in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Masters in General Management in Leuven.
Before joining Vlerick, Robin worked as an assistant professor at RWTH Aachen University and as a professor in Technology and Innovation Management at the Technical University of Berlin. He has also taught at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Michigan State University, German University of Technology and LECG Brussels.
