This programme comprises four modules, each focusing on a different aspect of sustainability management.

- Get to know the “sustainability dictionary” – understand terms including ESG, sustainable value creation, scope 1-2-3 emissions, circular economy, philanthropy and more
- Identify which stage of sustainability your company is in
- Learn how double materiality and stakeholder engagement can help set sustainability-focused priorities
Module 3: Designing your sustainability strategy
- Define the role of a sustainability strategy – and understand its importance
- Explore the differences between sustainability strategies created at tactical, business unit and corporate level
- Develop the cornerstones of your sustainability strategy
Module 4: Introducing sustainability reporting
- Understand why sustainability reporting matters
- Explore the value of disclosing non-financial, ESG-related information
- Get to know the main sustainability reporting frameworks
Programme design
Start Essentials in Sustainability Management at any time – and study wherever and whenever suits you. It takes around 8-10 hours to complete the programme, and you have a maximum of three months to go through all the modules.
It’s an online journey that’s packed with videos, interviews, exercises, questionnaires and real-life examples. You’ll also have background reading to do – and questions to help you reflect on your own experiences.
